When the three Clinton brothers signed a deal with General Motors in 1945, they established Clintons Motors. As early adopters in the automobile sector, Jack, William (Bill), and Barry Clinton set out on their adventure to promote their goods in the Macarthur area.

The doors to the Clintons Toyota Narellan location were shut by December 2016 and reopened at the brand-new, modern, state-of-the-art facility in Gregory Hills. One of the newest members of the group, Lexus of Macarthur, also relocated to this location. The group formed Macarthur BMW, Macarthur BMW Motorrad, Macarthur MG, and Macarthur Prestige Body Shop in the same year it acquired South Coast BMW.
With the addition of Noble Toyota and Volkswagen, Clintons Motor Group’s acquisition of Noble Automotive in June 2019 gave it access to four more brands.
