The Nissan Terrano is a very comfortable and practical vehicle, but it lacks style. Although it isn’t a racer, the performance is sufficient for anyone who wants to drive safely. It has considerable ground clearance, is good off-road, and is a great load transporter. It also has the benefit of fitting into a garage that is rather tight because it is not as wide as many 4x4s. My own has been completely dependable for almost two years since I purchased it used. It’s already 11 years old, and the only time I’d replace it is if I could afford to buy a significantly newer one. Although it is not the world’s most fuel-efficient vehicle, when driven sensibly, it is not too bad. I can reach up to 35 mpg when running.

The Terrano also has new badging that designates the version on the A-pillar beneath the side mirrors. Aside than that, the vehicle is unaltered from the model before the facelift; the chrome fog light surrounds, daytime running lamps, and side step installed on the vehicle in the above photograph are optional extras.
Inside the cabin, most of the modifications are concentrated. With the inclusion of the 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, speed limiter, anti-pinch driver-side window, one-touch turn indicators, steering-stalk-mounted infotainment controls, and a revamped instrument cluster, the Terrano now has a dual-tone, black and brown interior. Similar to the Renault Duster, the touchscreen and switchgear are also included.
Along with some new materials, the 2017 Terrano’s interior has soft-touch plastics on the dash and faux-leather door inserts. The awkwardly situated back air conditioning vent from the previous model has been replaced with a bottle container.
The same as before, the seats now have a brown and black color scheme to match the rest of the cabin. For the 2017 model, an armrest has been added to the driver’s side.
As previously indicated, the 2017 Terrano’s mechanical design is unaltered. It is still powered by the same 1.5-liter DCi diesel engine and is offered in two tuning levels: 85hp and 110hp. For the 85 hp version, the engine is paired with a five-speed manual transmission; for the 110 hp version, it is paired with a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed AMT gearbox.
