How Much Is A Ferrari Limo?

There are many options available for car aficionados seeking for a high-performance family transporter, including a 707-horsepower Jeep SUV and a beefed-up Mercedes station wagon. What happens, though, if you have, let’s say, eight children and a craving for speed that can only be met by an Italian sports vehicle with a mid-engine?

You’re in luck today since Australian website CarSales is presently selling a stretched 2003 Ferrari 360 Modena for for US $287,000. The vehicle, which Exotic Limo is selling, underwent a three-year transformation into a legitimate party machine that involved cutting it in half and adding three meters to its length.

It no longer only looks like the same old boring sports vehicle, but now has eight seats in the back, a minibar, a few TVs, and two gull-wing doors for good measure.

The Drive deserves praise for bringing our attention to this exhilarating adventure. To find out more about the car and its history, keep scrolling.

Obscene or artistic?

Now, some Ferrari fans might consider this to be an atrocity, and we wouldn’t necessarily disagree with them. The 400 horsepower, 3.6-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine from the 360 Modena is still present in the stretched limousine. Strangely, though, it is now connected to the Subaru Liberty GT’s transmission.

This 360 Modena limousine is not the first, as CarScoops notes. A yellow 360 limo was listed for sale in the United States two years ago. The vehicle was placed up for auction with a $95,000 reserve price, but it didn’t sell.

The 360 Modena limo that was recently posted for sale in Australia is significantly more expensive; the car, which has only traveled 40,389 miles (65,000 km), has been listed on Car Sales at an astounding AU$399,999 (US$284,997).
