When the LEGO Technic Ferrari 488 GTE ‘AF Corse #51’ reached speeds of over 200 km/h on the Modena circuit in Italy, it became the first LEGO model to spend time on a genuine race track. This was made possible by mounting the LEGO Ferrari model on a genuine Ferrari 488 GTE that was operated by Giancarlo Fisichella, Ferrari Competizioni GT’s official driver.
