Absolutely useless bus excursion. Just a drive through a very deserted factory, where the only thing you can see up close are buildings and a track. The tour guide occasionally attempted to point out a feature inside a structure that is covered in slats and thus offers few, if any, views. Definitely a waste of time and money.
It’s wonderful to be able to enter those renowned gates and explore the different parts of the business. You are driven around in a coach and briefly disembark at the alternate exit before returning to the coach to enter the site. The sensitive nature of such a production facility makes it understandable that you are not permitted to see the production lines or take photos. At the time, the upcoming Ferrari SUV was being wheeled across the road in front of us, but it was completely hidden so there isn’t much to tell you (although the silhouette definitely gave it away!). Outside, a couple constructed automobiles were parked. Italian and English are spoken alternately by the tour guide, who was highly engaging and educational.
This tour left me unimpressed and disappointed. Although it was pleasant to board a bus and approach the Ferrari factory’s gates, the manner in which it was done makes it so unfortunate. Never a snapshot was taken (despite them not showing us anything of substance). You only drive “close” to the Fiorano track, not onto the track itself, after passing by the different Ferrari complex buildings. To get a genuine factory tour, make a reservation at the neighboring Pagani experience.
I went on a trip with my brother-in-law, and it was wonderful. Since we were staying in Milan, we rode the many trains that go to “Morena” (which is on the way to Bologna), where we transferred to one of the museums. From there, the same bus carried us to the Ferrari Museum in Maranello. A 45-minute bus tour of the Ferrari factory and private racetrack is an option. Taking that is something we advise.”

At the Ferrari Museum, is it possible to drive a Ferrari?
You may schedule your supercar test drives on this page; they are held in Maranello right outside the Ferrari museum. The length of the test drives might range from 30 minutes to roughly 2 hours. You will require a driving license that is recognized in Italy if you want to drive yourself while participating in a driving adventure. While it appears that many driving permits from other EU nations are easily accepted, my American friends had to have a small addition to make sure their permit was international and could be used in Italy.
