What may be done with used automobile stereos?
You may avoid the middleman at locations like pawn shops and have access to a large pool of buyers by selling your vehicle audio on eBay or Facebook Marketplace.

- Most practical: Pawn shop, scrap metal, recycling, or donation
- Highest prices: Facebook Marketplace or eBay
There are many locations you may sell your used vehicle stereo, but whether you decide to do so will depend on whether you think it will be worthwhile.
The best pricing will be found on Facebook Marketplace and eBay, but these platforms might take a while to set up, deal with inquiries from customers, and then ship or meet customers in person.
If they accept it and offer a lower sum, taking it to a pawnshop will be the most practical course of action.
You may also take it to the nearest recycling facility, but doing so will not earn you any money.
Many people who replace their radios ask what to do with the original, stock radio that came with the vehicle. Of course you sell it!
If you don’t have the extraction key, how do you remove a Pioneer radio?
Pioneer Car Stereo Removal Without Keys
- Step 1: Cut the power.
- Second step: Take the face plate out of the cradle.
- Step 3: Remove the instrument.
- Unscrew is step four.
- Removing the AC vent is step five.
- Pop the window switch in step six.
- Remove the switch lock in Step 7.
- Remove the Bolts in Step 8.
Step Two : Take out the Faceplate
After the negative terminal has been loosened, it is time to remove the faceplate. Your Alpine head unit’s corner houses this faceplate. To remove the faceplate, simply release the faceplate button.
Step Three : Remove the Bezel
It is now time for you to remove the bezel after removing the faceplate. Try to lever open the entire thing off of your stereo using a flat screwdriver. You’ll notice that the bezel is held in place by a number of plastic tabs.
You can start in one location and work your way toward removing the frame in order to complete the process quickly.
Final Step : Use the Keys
Take your Alpine head unit’s keys now; you’ll need them for the following stage. On the stereo’s sides, there are slots where your keys must be inserted.
You must force the keys outward after inserting them. By doing this, you can remove the side clamps that hold the stereo in place.
You may simply slide the stereo out of the dashboard when the stereo has been completely unbolted. And that’s how you use keys to remove an Alpine car stereo.
