Larry H. Miller Toyota and Lexus in Spokane have been acquired by Nevada-based Findlay Automotive Group, which has a track record in the region.
Since the Larry H. Miller Group chose to leave the auto sales industry in 2021, there have been two sales. The late Miller, a former owner of the Utah Jazz, founded the business, which sold its 61 dealerships to the Atlanta-based Asbury Automotive Group in September for $3.2 billion.
Findlay, based in Henderson, Nevada, bought the Toyota and Lexus businesses at 1128 West Third Avenue this year. These locations have a history of abandoned municipal streets and destroyed historic structures.
According to Tyler Corder, chief financial officer of Findlay, the agreement with Asbury was finalized on March 31. The agreement’s terms weren’t made public.
“I started my automotive career in Spokane, and I have a great affection for it,” Corder remarked. When the chance presented itself, everything made sense.
