I just went to a fantastic concert here, and the estimated 8,000 attendees found the venue to be a wonderful setting. This estimate is based solely on the fact that the arena was packed, and the “back yard” seating also appeared to be full. Though I didn’t want to, I had looked at a map on the Toyota Music website, and that seemed to be the ideal place to park. Parking costs $10. It was a short walk to the arena, and once inside, it felt very secure. There were security personnel at all entrances, watching to make sure that fans weren’t crammed too closely. The seating was extremely pleasant, with folding, padded chairs. Several complaints: beverages were exorbitantly priced, with beers and wines costing roughly $13. (small beer a bit less). However, it was wonderful that they permitted both empty and full water bottles inside. The excellent lighting, sound system, and giant screens on either side of the stage—all of which, of course, were provided by the bands—made for a fantastic rock event. I hope to come back again soon. (Issue: They should make the lines leading to the parking garage more “user friendly” rather than jamming everyone into a relatively small walkway that is blocked off so you can’t “extend” the Que and have to pass restaurants.
