Toyota was established in 1937 on the basis of our founder Kiichiro Toyoda’s belief that “making cars using Japanese people’s minds and skills” was important. Japan has had unheard-of economic growth in the 40 years after the conclusion of the war, on a scale never previously witnessed in the world.
