Is Toyota Harrier 7 Seater

The Toyota Harrier (Japanese:, Hepburn: Toyota Hari) is a five-passenger compact crossover SUV that Toyota has been making since December 1997 in Japan. Previously, Toyopet Store Japanese dealerships were the only places to purchase the Toyota Harrier. From March 1998 through December 2008, the Harrier was rebadged as the Lexus RX for international markets. Toyota has not yet started selling the Lexus brand to its Japanese customers at this point.

In February 2003, the export Lexus model was introduced, along with the second generation (XU30). Late in 2008, the third-generation RX (different from the Harrier) was released, while the Harrier persisted in second-generation form. Because Lexus had already established itself as a stand-alone brand in Japan, the third-generation RX was offered there in the same livery as it was for export.

The Harrier, which was subsequently developed on the same platform as the RAV4 but maintained a visual link with it, was built on a distinct platform from the RX at the time of the third generation’s (XU60) launch in 2013. It is now regarded as a more upscale and road-oriented alternative to the RAV4, comparable to the luxury-class Lexus NX. It is marketed as the second-generation Venza in China and North America starting with the fourth generation (XU80).

The eastern marsh harrier, also known as the chhi in Japanese, is a common bird of prey in Hokkaido and northern Honshu. Up until the XU60 model, the grille of the Harrier included an insignia of the bird in a stylised profile.

Tata Harrier NCAP Crash Test Rating

Global NCAP, on the other hand, were thrilled by Harrier’s top-notch performance, but being grieved by the loss of their cherished crash barrier that had previously put several Indian automobiles to shame.

To the point where the authorities have, for the first time ever, chosen to deviate from the standard rating system and award the Harrier an additional star! The Harrier is the first vehicle in the world to receive a six-star safety rating. The fact that ‘Thank You Ratan Tata’ is currently trending on Twitter has fans ecstatic.

The head of G-NCAP, Mr. Kraus B. Rier, commented on the unusual crash test results of the well-known Indian mid-premium SUV, saying, “Tata Motors has been making consistent strides to improve vehicular safety in India. The Harrier’s success in breaking through barriers only serves to emphasize the brand’s preference for safer vehicles.

In any case, we already knew that the Harrier is a secure vehicle. We have been watching social media posts about Tata automobiles that broke down yet kept their occupants from suffering severe harm. In a nutshell, I’m in awe of the Harrier. Simply Wow.

Land Rover Roots

Although there hasn’t been any official announcement as of yet, we’ll just presume that Global NCAP will also give the new Safari the same 6-Star crash test rating. None of them, after all, want to lose another priceless crash barrier!

Which Harrier model offers the best value?

The XT Plus gives even better value for the money and is preferable to any of the lower variations if you want a sunroof in your car. Except if you desire a car without a sunroof, it only costs Rs. 50,000 to the ex-showroom price, making the jump strongly recommended over the XT model for value for money.

For purchasers who are debating the Harrier but don’t want to push their budget too far, the XT Plus is our top recommendation. Because the XT version does not have an automatic transmission, customers contemplating the Harrier automatic will have to pay Rs. 2.09 lakh to upgrade from the XMA to the XTA Plus variant. But this update is also worth the expense for Harrier automatic purchasers.

You can also get the XT Plus Dark, which gets the following notable features:

  • alloy wheels in black
  • exterior color: black
  • interior in black
  • Black badges

This update is also warranted financially due to the unique look and Rs. 30,000 higher asking price. But we’ll let you decide whether to purchase the Dark edition.
