Because the nut is plastic and I didn’t want to break it, I was hesitant to do this. The car is still challenging to drive without revving it more than other cars when moving off, even if the bite after adjustment is better but still not ideal. If the clutch is pretty worn out, you might be able to achieve a better bite, but you probably won’t get it precisely how you want it. Additionally, you will have to give up more slack/free-play in the clutch pedal by changing the bite to get it lower. But if there is space to do so, that is, if there is less than 1 inch of free-play pre-adjustment, I would say go for it.
