On the one hand, the $788,914 price tag for this new S version of the Aventador (the Italians say the S stands for “Something that is better”) is problematic and slightly absurd because it seems like a lot to pay for a vehicle that the Victorian Police would shoot you in front of you for speeding and that is about as well suited to Australian conditions as an igloo.
On the other hand, the automobile, which is possibly the biggest “look at me, I’m rich” statement short of writing your bank balance in the sky, makes perfect sense given that it is wrapped in heavy gold bands and has a fat Rolex affixed to its wrist.
This type of buyer truly wants to spend a lot of money because it’s fun, as opposed to choosing the Lamborghini Huracan, which is more affordable, rational, and, to be honest, pleasant.
Even though you only get two seats for that amount, they are quite attractive and grippy, which is essential for a g-force monster like this.
The only available specification for a S buyer offers small extras like Apple CarPlay, but the $3400 telemetry system that records your lap times is an optional extra.
Aside from the obvious features like the scissor doors and the “Bombs-away!” starter, the one feature every owner will want to brag about is the EGO button. This is essentially a fourth setting to be added to the car’s current Strada (Street in Italian), Sport, and Corsa (Race) options. However, because it is completely customizable, it actually offers additional 24 settings when you press it.
Even though it lacks some purpose, at least it is truthful because this car is all about EGO.
Each of those settings also alters the Aventador S’s lavish and magnificent Kombi dash panels, which offer race-car-like enormous tachometers and even a graphic that demonstrates the direction your wheels are pointed. Not that you’ll have time to consider it while investigating the 350 km/h top speed of your vehicle.

What automobile is the fastest in the world?
In February 2014, the Hennessey Venom GT unofficially set the world record for the fastest car by reaching a speed of 270.49 mph (435.3 km/h). The claim that the car couldn’t be tested in both directions due to administrative issues means that the record is still unofficial. The vehicle is currently the fastest production automobile in the world, and it is clear that this vehicle is a true super car. Is Supra the quickest vehicle?
The Mk4 Toyota Supra, also known as “Orange Man Bad,” set a record for the fastest drag vehicle with an H-pattern manual transmission last year when it clocked a six-second quarter-mile pass. During the run, a quarter-mile time of 6.9 seconds was recorded at 194.77 mph (313.45 kilometers per hour). And it still managed to retain its record-breaking speed of 215.37 mph (346.60 km/h) at the finish line in a prior run.
For those of you who have been following this build, we have both good and terrible news for you. Unfortunately, one of those records has already been broken. The good news is that Grannas Racing’s Toyota Supra, which made the fastest run and recorded the fastest time, is still available.
The Toyota MR2 with 1,200 Honda horsepower was highlighted on That Racing Channel, and they also broadcast the record-breaking run on YouTube. At the Hail Mary Derby in Maryland, a time of 6.84 seconds at 213.77 mph (344.03 km/h) set a new record for the quarter-mile race.
How quickly does a Lamborghini go?
The Lamborghini Veneno and Veneno Roadster are the world’s fastest Lamborghinis, reaching top speeds of 221 mph. The legendary Sesto Elemento, which has a top speed of 220 mph, follows them. After that, there are ten Lamborghini supercars, each with a top speed of 217 mph. In reality, most of the vehicles on this list would accomplish considerably more if they were let to (blame electronically limited top speeds). Since all of the models are built on the Aventador engine and chassis, we would anticipate that they would all be very close to one another even though each would hit a higher speed if freed from an electronic nanny.

A Tesla is faster than a Supra, right?
When Toyota initially showed us the newest Supra, we knew what to anticipate: a powerful sports vehicle with superb handling abilities. The majority of those who had the opportunity to drive it before sitting down to write about it agreed that it did not dissapoint and did not let them down.
Despite this, the GR Supra isn’t always a straight-line fighter. It’s a sports car, not a supercar, so it’s hardly the first vehicle that comes to mind when we think about drag racing. Under the hood, there isn’t a big supercharged V8, a dual turbocharged V8, or even a V6 engine.
If you choose the flagship specification, it does sport an inline-six turbocharged (single turbo) engine that was sourced from the German automaker BMW. You might say that the GR Supra is nothing more than a BMW Z4 with a Toyota shell on top if you wanted to annoy some people. Undoubtedly exaggerated, but also not entirely false.
Despite this, one should not disregard the Supra’s straight-line speed despite the fact that it appears to be quite speedy. After the 2021 model year, the inline-six engine delivers 382 horsepower (387 ps) and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm) of torque, although earlier models were capable of 335 hp (340 ps) and 365 lb-ft (495 Nm). In a flagship-spec Supra, you should be able to complete a quarter mile in around 12.5 seconds.
The full electric Tesla should be almost a full second faster than the GR Supra over a quarter mile, but there’s a catch, at least as far as this video is concerned. Post-2018 editions of the Model 3 come with 450 horsepower and 471 lb-ft (639 Nm) of torque.
There is nothing indicating that this Supra is 100% stock in the description, and the uploader made no such claim in the comments area. This is because, as you can see, the Supra just kicked that Tesla’s behind with considerable prejudice.
The Supra narrowly beat the Model 3 Performance to the finish line in 11.45 seconds at 125.90 mph. The Model 3 Performance completed the race in 11.52 seconds at 116.09 mph (186.82 kph) (202.61 kph).
