How much does parking cost at the Houston Toyota Center?
A 2,500 space parking garage connected to the Toyota Center is accessible on game days and is accessible to the general public. During non-events, parking in the Toyota Tundra Garage costs $2, while during events, it costs $15. The venue’s skybridge entry will be accessible to premium parking garage visitors.

Is parking in Houston’s downtown free?
Some metered locations magically transform into tow-away zones on weekdays between the hours of 7 and 9 am and 4 and 6 pm. Unfortunately, some of these signs are unclear, but we advise trusting your instincts; if you have any doubts, avoid parking there.
2. Steer clear of areas marked in red
The designated areas are always off-limits if the curb is painted red, the street has red stripes, or a meter has a red bag over it.
3. Recognize time constraints
The majority of downtown meters have a 3 hour time limit, thus staying in the assigned place for longer than that will result in a citation. You must relocate your vehicle to a completely new zone at the conclusion of the three hours (not just to the spot in front of or behind you). The parking zone you are now in is indicated on the majority of meters by a green sticker that has a 4 or 5 digit number on it.
4. Benefit from FREE parking
Downtown on-street parking is cost-free Monday through Saturday from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. and all day on Sunday. Once more, be cautious of red markings (see Tip #2).

You can move from block to block or meter to meter without having to pay the meter each time by obtaining a Downtown Hopper Pass for a one-time daily cost. There are still time constraints (see Tip #3).
8. Walk around the city
Houston’s downtown is walkable, contrary to popular opinion! The majority of downtown’s most well-known locations are never more than a 510-minute walk apart. For instance, it’s simple to park in the Historic District, enjoy a drink in a local pub, and then stroll to AMC Dine-In Houston 8 at Bayou Place to watch the newest independent film. Walking is more entertaining, exciting, and economical than driving.

Is a vaccination required to attend Toyota Center Houston?
A new date will soon be revealed for the J Balvin performance at Toyota Center that was originally slated for May 6th, 2022.
Holders of tickets are urged to keep them safe because they will be honored on the rescheduled date.
Any attendees who purchased their tickets through Toyota Center ONLY and are interested in a refund must do so within 30 days of the new dates being revealed.
All ticket holders will receive an email when the new concert date is revealed.
Complete immunization or a negative test outcome
The Jose Tour 2022 is expected to be an extraordinary tour, and the event’s organizer has implemented COVID-19 safety procedures to protect the wellbeing of all attendees, crew members, and working staff. All visitors must present documentation of complete COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result in order to access Toyota Center. Two weeks or more after receiving the second dose of a two-dose series of the COVID-19 vaccine (Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, or another vaccine approved by the World Health Organization) or two weeks or more after receiving a single dose of the vaccine (Johnson & Johnson/Janssen). Both PCR and antigen tests for COVID-19 are valid. There are two ways to show proof of vaccination or a negative test: (1) a phone photo of the vaccination card or negative test result; and (2) a paper copy of the actual vaccination card or test result. As the concert date draws near, check back frequently as this information may change (e.g. based on guidance from public health officials).

Can I bring my bag to the Rockets game?
All visitors entering the arena must pass a metal-detector screening using a walk-through magnetometer and/or wand, a visual inspection, and a bag inspection by Toyota Arena Security staff. For the safety of our visitors and personnel, the inspection’s goal is to find forbidden goods.
- Prepare for increased security procedures by arriving early.
- Limit the number of objects you bring inside.
- Prepare yourself to make it through the selection procedure. This will involve going through the magnetometers and having your bags checked. Be ready to empty your pockets AHEAD of time.
NO BAG POLICY – Purses and bags will be restricted in size in compliance with safety and security regulations. However, wallets, clutch single pocket purses, or bags must be small, measuring no more than 4 by 5 inches. Clear bags are ideal. Diaper bags and bags containing medical supplies like prescription medications, breast pumps, and other specialized medical equipment will be allowed as long as they are smaller than 16 in. x 12 in. x 12 in. in order to help our guests who need a purse/bag. These bags must undergo further examination. Arrive early to give yourself plenty of time to go through the additional security screening if you need to enter with a handbag or bag.
DO NOT REMOVE OUTERWEAR/ACCESSORIES: Fans should be ready to unzip all jackets and place phones, keys, and cameras in the tray as they approach the entry. As they pass through the metal detectors, they can keep wearing their hats, belts, shoes, and jewelry. No need to take wallets or loose change out of pockets.
REMOVE Forbidden ITEMS FROM POCKETS AND PURSES: Toyota Arena advises visitors to leave all prohibited items in their home or car before leaving for the event. On our website, above the doors at the entrances, you can see a list of products that are not allowed.
HOLD ONTO YOUR TICKET: Instead of having one person carry tickets for the group, each person should carry their own ticket once they have passed through the metal detectors. To enter the Arena, each visitor needs to have a ticket of their own that they may show. Visitors must sit in their designated seats or, if applicable, in the general admission area, and must display their ticket when asked to do so.
USE ALL AVAILABLE DOORS: Unless otherwise directed, fans should refrain from assembling at any one door.
If visitors are found to be in possession of forbidden materials, admittance is denied out of concern for their safety. Every entry constitutes permission for a search. Items that are illegal will be seized and given to the police. A guest may be removed from the establishment if they are caught inside the establishment carrying a forbidden item.
