Toyota was voted into fifth place out of 30 manufacturers, up from sixth the year before and comfortably in front of luxury brands like Audi, BMW, and Mercedes.

Adult and child occupant protection were evaluated at 86 percent and 81 percent, respectively, by Euro NCAP, who gave the Yaris a perfect five stars for safety.

The Yaris comes equipped with a lot of safety equipment as standard, including active systems like a Driver Attention Alert, Road Sign Assist, Emergency Steering Assist, and a Pre-Collision feature with cyclist and pedestrian detection. The Toyota Yaris 1.5 VVT-i Hybrid CVT Active 5dr is both the most economical and least expensive hybrid model, with a reported 76.3 mpg. Larger wheels mean Design, Design Bi-Tone, and Excel versions return less, while Icon and Icon Tech versions return the same number.

The Yaris is already a reasonably family-friendly five-door vehicle, but this version wins for its excellent power-to-efficiency ratio (0-62 mph in 11.0 seconds and 55.4 mpg) and selection of practical safety and convenience features (front parking sensors and a sat nav on top of standard Icon’s reversing camera, air conditioning, and road sign assist feature).

Only 80 of the Yaris’ high-performance models were imported to the UK, and they were swiftly sold out, so your search for one will be in fruitless. Understanding Toyota Yaris car names

Yaris

The Yaris lineup features three important engines. Like in this example, the names of each normally start with the engine capacity (1.5 litres in this case), then VVT-i, which stands for variable valve timing and injection (simply, it aids efficiency and economy). The 1.5 VVT engine also comes in a hybrid variant known as VVT-h.

Continuously Variable Transmission, or CVT for short, is an automatic transmission. There are also options for five- and six-speed manual transmissions, however hybrid variants can only be had with a CVT.

There are seven standard trim levels, ranging from the entry-level Active to the top-of-the-line Excel and the sporty GR Sport, which is only offered with the hybrid powertrain.

Is Toyota Yaris maintenance affordable?

Between the first service and this one, my 2019 new ZR and I have covered 7,000 miles, totaling 15,000 miles. I was hit with a $800 fee for replacement front tires that failed a WOF. They didn’t check the pressure before replacing them, even though the alignment was perfect. Apparently, this is because it is a “performance automobile.” Neither Toyota nor Albany Toyota would budge from their position that the problem was due to poor upkeep or driver behavior. Without any issues, I used my previous ZR for five years. terrible service

The car has 170,000 miles on it and has been ours for 15 years. For the money we spent on maintenance and repairs over the years, the car was wonderful. It hasn’t had any significant issues, therefore I’d always get another Toyota.

Had it for twelve years. It runs great and I’m happy with how little mileage it has even after 12 years. None to report. Going on…

I don’t mind the sound of the wind.

I don’t need to utilize it as a moving van like other people do; overall, it’s a car that gets me from A to B and moves along without any issues.

The automobile was bought, but we noticed that your advertisement shows the mileage as 11,487 but the merchant says it is 10,360 miles. Is there any way to change this?

What causes this contradiction? Please confirm the cause of the apparent disparity for us.

The merchant Steven Eagell Autos Northampton provided us with excellent service, and we appreciate that.

Excellent performance and efficiency from the card. dependable and somewhat inexpensive to maintain.

I was quite pleased with the inside space. I particularly appreciate the concept of the several cup holders and compartments.

It would not be appropriate to comment in great detail given that I have only owned this automobile for a few weeks. It’s a cute little car that is proving to be dependable (as I would expect from a Toyota). We chose it because of its dependability and affordability. The 1300 cc engine is, however, underpowered for this region of the world with its many hills, and as a result, the fuel economy falls short of what I had anticipated. Still, life is what it is.

Basic run around town

It is small enough to park, swift enough to travel further distances, and air-conditioned enough to be comfortable in sweltering temperatures. sufficient for a pre-owned motor.

In it, my daughter passed her test two years ago, and this year, it traveled to Armenia via Georgiaand you thought our roads were awful before! In the six years I’ve loved driving it, I’ve only had it serviced once and had one spring changed. It has 120,000 miles on it now and is very fuel-efficient.

I’ve owned this automobile since it was new. Thus, it has 12 years. in addition to brake pads and tire replacement. a wonderful, affordable, comfortable, and reliable vehicle. As we are now in our 70s, the car is quite easy for us to get into and out of because the seats are really comfy and the car is little higher off the ground than many other automobiles. Since we keep it in a garage, it is in excellent shape. It simply dislikes slopes a lot!!!!!

Reliability receives high points because we have had this automobile for 10 years and it has very low operating costs, which is essential while on a tight budget. We paid a little bit more than other auto buyers, but it was well worth it.

3rd Yaris for us. This model meets all of our needs, which are primarily local with sporadic larger trips. There is a smaller turning circle than before? a larger engine We still haven’t mastered all the frills, but we’re getting used to the battery drive’s silence! When a line of cars started to move and the car in front abruptly braked, the collision avoidance system performed admirably. The system and my response immediately brought the automobile to a stop.
