Is the Yaris 1.3 a decent vehicle?

I’ve never met a Toyota Yaris owner who absolutely adores their vehicle. Let’s start with the positives. This car’s engine is quick and responsive, and the crisp steering helps. The engine is really noisy and doesn’t seem to perform well anyplace, though.

My main complaint about the Yaris’s driving is that it seems “jiggly.” That is to say, it feels unsteady on all but the smoothest of roads, and it doesn’t help that speed bumps and potholes soon overwhelm the suspension. Fortunately, there is little wind and road noise, but Toyota definitely needs to work on the ride if they want people to choose this over a Fiesta.

Overall, the Yaris’ driving experience will be satisfactory for those looking for a practical vehicle to transport them to the stores. Despite this, the manner it drives won’t win it any prizes.

The new Toyota Yaris is significantly more comfortable than the previous model, which was a dull place to sit. The Yaris is the most hospitable vehicle in its class thanks to the bright red trim available on Sport variants.
