What distinguishes a Toyota Tundra Double Cab from a Crew Cab?

The Toyota Tundra’s Double Cab and CrewMax models differ primarily in that the Double Cab has less space in the back seat. The occupants in the backseat have 8.3 less inches of legroom.

Both vehicles can hold 5 passengers and have 2 sets of fully functional doors. However, the Double Cab’s back doors are a little bit smaller.

The back doors on the Double Cab are smaller than those on the CrewMax, as seen in the image above.

They significantly improved the design over earlier iterations and included conventional handles as opposed to more recessed and difficult-to-use ones (like in the 2021 model below).

Since I don’t personally own this truck, the video below does an excellent job of demonstrating how the two cab sizes differ.

Do Toyota’s CrewMax long beds exist?

The 5.5-foot bed length is another feature of the 2019 Tundra CrewMax. There isn’t a larger size bed available for the CrewMax. You must choose one of the Tundra Double Cab choices if you want a normal or long bed.

Which is larger, the extended cab or the crew cab?

Extended Cab: Compared to Crew Cabs, Extended Cabs are smaller in size but larger than Regular Cabs. The Extended Cab is often referred to as the Quad Cab in RAM trucks. Crew Cab: The Crew Cab is what you want if you require more interior room.

How big is the bed of a Toyota Tundra?

The Tundra comes with three different bed sizes that drivers can choose from: a 5.5-foot bed, a 6.5-foot bed, and an 8.1-foot bed. The overall length of drivers with the 5.5-foot and 6.5-foot beds is 228.9 inches, while the 8.1-foot bed increases that length to 247.8 inches.

In addition to having several lengths, your bed has lots of room, at 22.2 inches deep and 66.4 inches wide overall. Overall, the truck’s spacious cargo area gives you plenty of room to easily load up items.
