Another rationale is that Toyota helped to separate the automaker from agriculture, advancing the business’s objective to position itself as cutting-edge and high-tech. Another is that voiced sounds, such as [d], are regarded as “murky,” but voiceless sounds, such as [t], are regarded as “clear.” Finally, it’s possible that the logo’s design was influential.
