Toyota no longer makes station wagons, probably as a result of the market shifting away from them in recent years in favor of more competent crossover/SUV vehicles, but the ones they did make were just as good as their stablemates.
Toyota initially struggled to compete with domestic wagons’ lower prices when they wanted to start manufacturing station wagons for international customers. But Toyota has long ago cemented its position as one of the most powerful powers in the world’s car manufacturing sector.

Is there a Toyota Camry station wagon available?
Toyota played things safe with the most recent Camry generation, and by playing it safe, we mean making it exclusively a sedan.
In Europe at least, there is still a sizable demand for estate cars, and both premium and mainstream automakers provide such vehicles as an alternative to the crossover frenzy, so that does not make much sense.
It would put pressure on models like the five-door Volkswagen Passat, Skoda Superb, Opel Insignia, and Peugeot 508, which are still rather well-liked on the right side of the Atlantic Ocean.
As we can see from the many renderings that have surfaced throughout the years, it would also look rather nice. The most recent photos were posted by sugardesign on Instagram, and they portray it as having a family-friendly vibe, which is accentuated by its longer roof ending in a spoiler, reworked back end, and larger trunk than its sedan counterpart.
Along with a more-than-acceptable 0 to 60 mph (0-97 kph) time and top speed, the 3.6-liter V6 engine under the hood, rated at 297 horsepower (301 ps / 221 kW) and 267 lb-ft (362 Nm) of torque, would be coupled to an eight-speed automated transmission and all-wheel drive.
Now, while some automakers continue to assume that station wagons will continue to be popular, Toyota does not, at least not for the Camry, while the smaller Corolla is also available in the Touring Sports body style. Therefore, don’t hold your breath for one because it won’t happen, and it’s likely that the five-door model won’t debut with its replacement either since the current-generation Camry went into production in 2017. Would you have thought about purchasing a Camry wagon, though, if they had offered one?

Unfortunately, it’s a shrinking market for those of us in the States. There are plenty of used Subaru wagons available because the company has been producing the venerable Outback in its current generation for almost ten years.
