The Toyota CHR has CarPlay, right?
All current connectivity technology is preinstalled on the 2021 C-HR. And we truly mean that. The lowest LE grade offers an 8-inch touchscreen, a six-speaker audio, a USB port, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, Bluetooth, SiriusXM satellite radio, a Wi-Fi hotspot, voice recognition technology, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. Nothing else is concealed by higher trimmings. You immediately have access to all the technology.
The 2019 Toyota CHR is Apple CarPlay compatible.
Finally, the Toyota C-HR will get all-wheel drive. That was an early April Fool’s joke, so no, really. Although none of the minor modifications to Toyota’s oddball almost-SUV hatchback for the 2019 model year pertain to the drivetrain, one of them has been long overdue. Apple CarPlay compatibility is coming to the C-HR in 2019, however there is currently no information on Android Auto.

What does Toyota’s C-HR stand for?
the enigmatic “The name C-HR is an abbreviation. The Toyota press release states that the C-name HR’s is “derived from Cross Hatch Run-about and Compact High Rider. “Compact high rider” makes sense as a concept. Compact goes without saying; the C-HR is a compact crossover SUV in terms of proportions. The “high rider component of the name” refers to the C-taller HR’s stance than that of a typical sedan because it is also an SUV. Due to its resemblance to the dual design philosophy of hatchbacks and crossover SUVs, the cross hatch is also quite intuitive.
C-HR Specs
The C-HR is a crossover SUV that prioritizes performance and utility. When the back seats are folded down, it offers a 19.1 cu ft of cargo space, which is standard for hatchbacks. The volume increases to 37 cu-ft when the back seats are folded down, which is comparable to the typical capacity of a two-row SUV. A 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine under the hood of the C-HR cranks out 144 horsepower and 139 lb-ft of torque. The only available drivetrain is FWD, similar to a standard hatchback or sedan.
If my car has Apple CarPlay, how do I know?
Most vehicles made in 2014 or after feature Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. You can check the user manual or conduct a Google search using the year, make, and model of your car to find out if it has Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. If your car doesn’t have a wireless dock, you can alternatively use the primary USB connector to connect your phone and view the menu. Apple CarPlay is it available in 2017 Toyotas?
The Apple CarPlay or Android Auto options are not available in Toyota automobiles. Instead, the Scout GPS Link system was created by Telenav, which is now used in Toyota automobiles as part of the Entune Audio Plus system. The amazing thing about this special technology is that it supports iOS and Android devices, so neither Apple’s nor Google’s in-car interface is necessary. Since most gadgets will be interoperable, this is ultimately a useful technique to allow all drivers to make use of the Toyota interface system. Nobody wants to decide on a new car or vice versa depending on their mobile device. Numerous Toyota cars from 2016 already include this new system, including the brand-new Tacoma.
How does Scout GPS Link work?
Any compatible smartphone, including some iPhones and Android smartphones, can download the Scout GPS Link app. In some Toyota automobiles, the Entune Auto Plus system shows navigation. Open the app after downloading it from GooglePlay or the Apple App Store and allowing it to use your location. You can install the app on your vehicle’s multimedia system after the app has opened.
