PRIOR TO COLLATING REAR SEATS
1. To avoid damage, unhook the central seat belt before lowering the seatback.
To release tab 1 (which has a hook end), insert the key into the buckle’s hole, and the belt will retract.
- The seat shouldn’t be adjusted while the car is driving.
- Retread the seatback as little as possible. When the passengers are upright and seated all the way back in their seats, the seat belts offer the best protection in a frontal or rear crash. In a reclined position, the shoulder belt may come into touch with your neck or the lap belt may slide past your hips and exert pressure to your abdomen. The risk of death or serious injury in a frontal crash increases with the amount of recline in the seat.
- Split seatTo make sure the seat is secured into place after adjusting its position, let go of the lever and try sliding the seat forward and backward.
2. Place the middle seat belt’s tabs within the cover. Verify that the tabs are firmly fastened to the cover.

In order to prevent personal injury in a collision or sudden halt, use the following procedures when raising the seatback:
