Information can be transferred to and from ECUs using the CAN bus, which is a network of 2 electrical wires (CAN Low & CAN High) in automobiles. Ironically, the message that many drivers mistakenly interpret as a sign of a malfunctioning LED bulb is actually a sign that the sophisticated, energy-saving LED technology is operating as planned.
How can I tell if my system is CANbus?
It has CAN Bus if the car alerts you when a light bulb goes out. Contacting the manufacturer or dealership of the car is the simplest option. Whether you’re still unsure, we typically advise our clients to drive their cars without a light on to see if they emit any warnings. For instance, leave the parking lights on while driving during the day and remove any rear lights that are not also turn signals or brake lights. If the car issues a bulb-out alert, CAN Bus is involved. No CAN Bus if no warning.
