Under its newly renamed Porsche Drive vehicle subscription service, Porsche now offers three plans, or levels. Porsche Drive-single car subscription, a new program, is sandwiched between two other existing categories.
Porsche Drive – Multi-Vehicle Subscription, which allows clients to rotate through a selection of vehicles on a monthly basis, is the most comprehensive option. Depending on whether the consumer wants access to its high-performance vehicles like the 911, the multi-vehicle plan costs $2,100 or $3,100 per month. Then there is Porsche Drive – Rental, which, as its name suggests, provides rentals for shorter periods of time. Although the new single-vehicle plan is more affordable than the multi-vehicle plan, it is still not a cheap option. The monthly cost for the single-vehicle package ranges from $1,500 for the Macan to $2,600 for the Porsche 911. Unless a consumer commits to the single-vehicle plan for at least three months, all of the plans have a $595 activation cost.
Notably, clients will not be able to purchase the all-electric Porsche Taycan with any amount of money. It is the only vehicle that is excluded from all of the proposals.
Customers in Atlanta, Los Angeles, Phoenix, and San Diego will be able to take advantage of this intermediate tier single-vehicle subscription scheme. Starting on September 25, customers who choose this package will have access to a single Porsche model for one or three months. The single-vehicle plan’s monthly charge, like those for the other Porsche Drive programs, includes the car, delivery, insurance, and service.
