In the “ignition lock” position 0, the ignition and engine are both off. For ten minutes, or until the driver door is opened, all services are available. so that you can use your air compressor or radio. But the engine (ignition) is not running.

I suppose I don’t comprehend the issue. The Taycan seems to provide you plenty of options to get around the issue you had with Park Assist auto-activating:
The automatic activation mentioned above by jontybutts can be turned off. When you’re prepared to drive in the snow, do it. Then, you can manually turn it on by pushing the button in the bottom left corner of the center console when you are about finished driving in the snow and are prepared to drive into a parking space. Even with automatic activation turned off, the Taycan still engages Park Assist when you shift into R.

The New Porsche Auto Start-Stop
This notice is for Porsche Cayenne models manufactured in 2015 and later (excluding S E-Hybrid). The problem might be that Auto Start Stop’s default setting of “on” cannot be changed.
When the same key was used to start and stop the car in earlier model years, the Auto Start Stop function was set to the last mode. Porsche, does it have remote starting?
Porsche does not offer remote starting because to the anti-idling legislation in Germany. They won’t adjust anything specifically for North America because of this and the fact that their cars are “global market” models.
This is absurd considering that my wife’s brand-new 2020 Mercedes AMG GLC 43 coupe was produced in Germany and has remote start via Mercedes Me.
My best estimate is that while remote start is prohibited through the actual FOB, it is permitted if it happens “over the air” with an app on your phone.

When a vehicle comes to a complete stop and idles for more than a few seconds, the engine automatically shuts off thanks to auto start/stop technology. The engine restarts when the driver applies pressure to the accelerator. It’s easy, and some claim that it can reduce gas use in stop-and-go traffic by 3 to 5%. Its underlying technology isn’t very futuristic.
The RPM of the engine is what matters. When the brake is applied and the auto start/stop technology detects that the car has stopped or that the RPM has completely stopped, the engine is shut off and the transmission is disengaged. The engine is restarted when the brake pedal has been released. The transmission uses auto stop/start technology and is put into a “soft neutral.” It doesn’t always shift into a different gear, and the engine doesn’t always restart with the driver’s foot on the brake.
It’s true that starting the engine has the biggest effect on it and is where the most damage occurs. This is due to the term “cold start up,” which refers to starting an engine after it hasn’t been used for several hours or days.
