Regards, Throck. The only mention of batteries in the table of contents was for page 43, thus I never saw that small paragraph on page 5.
Nissan seems to select batteries of lower caliber for its original equipment than what they recommend for replacement batteries. It was disappointing to lose this battery in less than 2 years because I often get 5-7 years out of my batteries.
The poorest batteries are Nissan OEM ones. The dealership wanted me to pay a prorata share, and mine only lasted around two years.
The OEM battery obviously fails in about two years, however that is NOT correct! All of my friends are still using their original batteries after three years. Nissan must adhere to some form of lemon rule or battery life standard, right? 1 and a half years for a car battery is absurd!
