According to a representative for the automobile family, Jim Glover Chevrolet has sold its businesses around 31st Street and Memorial Drive to a Dallas organization and relocated its headquarters to a recently acquired property close to the Arkansas River.
According to dealer owner Kristen Glover, Jim Glover Auto Family, which once ran Chevy and Nissan dealerships along Skelly Drive, will now run out of Jim Glover Chevrolet on the River, 707 W. 51st St. It has a location there as well.
By phone, Kristen Glover said, “When we had the chance to buy this river location, we knew ultimately that we wanted it to be our home base, the largest Chevy store in the state of Oklahoma. “We were essentially stranded there on Memorial Day. Our service department needed to be able to grow. We required the ability to store additional merchandise.
“All we needed was more room. We can provide much better service to our customers thanks to this facility.
