In terms of the estimated loss in dollars during the first five years, the Patrol is predicted to lose $36,165 while the LandCruiser loses $33,040.

While the LandCruiser receives a new 3.3 litre twin-turbo diesel V6 with more power than the diesel V8 it replaces, the Patrol features a 5.6 litre petrol V8. We’ll talk more about the donks later.

In the Patrol, you also get additional metal. It is 195mm longer and 15mm wider than the LandCruiser at 5175mm long and 1995mm broad. Additionally, there are an additional 225mm between the front and back wheels due to the wheelbase of 3075mm.
