I shut it off and then turned it back on. This time, the PS light and the push brake indication both remained illuminated and the vehicle would not shift into gear. It started normally after some waiting and several cycles of the power button. There were none on. When I took it to the dealer, they told me they couldn’t do anything until the warning lights started flashing.
They performed “regular” maintenance and advised me to return if there were any problems. They parked it and drove it out for me. When I attempted to switch it back on, the PS light returned and it refused to shift into drive. The Service representative claimed to have never seen anything like it and that he would need to hold it for a day in order to determine the issue.
There aren’t many Leafs where I live, but today I did notice one other car being serviced at this dealership. Any advice that I could provide the service technicians at the dealer would be greatly appreciated.
