Exterior lighting: Brake lights: Switch
Certain 2016–2019 Nissan Sentra vehicles are being recalled by Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan). A dirty brake light switch could prevent the circuit from closing and the brake lights from turning on.
Free of charge, dealers will swap out the brake light switch and put in a protective grommet. On July 1, 2022, owner notification letters were sent out. Nissan customers can reach customer care by dialing 1-800-867-7769. PM971 is Nissan’s reference number for this recall.
Back over prevention: sensing system: camera
Certain 2018-2019 Nissan Altima, Armada, Frontier, Kicks, Leaf, Maxima, Murano, NV, NV200, Pathfinder, Rogue, Rogue Sport, Sentra, Titan, Titan Diesel, Versa Note and Versa Sedan vehicles, as well as Infiniti Q50, Q60, QX30 and QX80 vehicles, are being recalled by Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan). The 2019 Nissan GT-R, Taxi, and Infiniti QX50, QX60, Q70, and Q70L vehicles are also included. You can change the settings for the back-up camera and display so that the rear view image is no longer visible, and the system will remember that setting the next time the car is put in reverse. As a result, these vehicles do not meet the standards of FMVSS 111, “Rear Visibility,” which is a federal motor vehicle safety standard.
The likelihood of a collision rises when the back-up camera display is blank.
Nissan will update the software for the back-up camera settings at no cost, and will gradually contact owners. All impacted VINs should be activated as of November 11, 2019, when the recall was announced. Owners can reach customer support at INFINITI at 1-800-662-6200 or Nissan at 1-800-867-7669.

Is the Nissan Sentra transmission subject to a recall?
On the freeway or in the middle of traffic, drivers have claimed that their engines had stopped, posing a major safety risk. Nissan has received complaints about this issue from customers via the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Here are a few of these grievances:
“…the engine abruptly stalled while traveling at 70 mph. Until the economy mode was disabled, the vehicle slowed to a stop on the side of the road. There were countless instances of the failure.
“Engine stalled on the freeway at 70 miles per hour. About an hour later, at 30 mph, it stalled once more.
“I took [the car] behind the wheel for the first time on a lengthy business trip, and three hours into the journey it stopped accelerating over 70 mph. This persisted all the way to my destination.
These are just a fraction of the countless complaints NHTSA has received about transmission issues and engine failure with Nissan Sentra models from 2012 to 2016. No recall has yet been announced by Nissan.

Are third-row Nissan Armada?
For the 2021 model year, the Armada received a stylish facelift and a few new technological features. For 2022, the Armada only receives the most minor of changes. The only new feature is a one-touch operation for the third row’s power folding, however it is only available on the Platinum trim level, which is the top of the line.
How is the center console removed from a 2020 Nissan Armada?
1) The lower border of the console is secured by four bolts, two on each side. You can see them if you move the seat forward.
2) After that, you must unbolt the console brackets from the floor board. Per bracket, add two extra bolts. Behind the second row, the floor board’s carpet rises. Put your socket wrench underneath, loosen the bolts, and then pull the brackets out.
How do you take the Nissan Murano’s center console out?
- Remove the lever selector knob. See the instructions for removing the shifter knob.
- Console finisher assembly should be removed. – Lift up the console’s cover.
- Eliminate the front console pocket.
- Take the back console pocket out.
- Take away the console’s rear finisher.
- Consol assembly should be removed.
- Take off the instrument’s lower cover. LH/RH.
- Remove the LH and RH lower console finishes.
