Thai factories produce the Mitsubishi Mirage?
TOKYOMitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) today introduced the refreshed and upgraded Attrage*2 sedan and Mirage*1 hatchback models in Thailand. Sales will follow in order in other markets. At the 2019 Thailand International Motor Expo, which takes place on November 28, both models will be on show.
These compacts now have more attractive interior designs in addition to sharper, more dynamic exteriors.
Around 140,000 units of the MMC Global Strategic Models Mirage and Attrage were sold overall in fiscal 2018. The Laem Chabang Plant of MITSUBISHI MOTORS Thailand is where these cars are made.
1) A angular, energetic exterior
The Dynamic Shield front design, which signifies the Mitsubishi brand identity, is used on both the Mirage and the Attrage. In an embrace of protection, the design curves around from the sides toward the middle of the nose. The front end has a more muscular and angular appearance as a result of this and the square grille lines with their pattern of horizontal and vertical bars.
With a squarish treatment for the bumper corners and L-signature horizontal LED combo lamps that stand upright from the bumper corners, the rear is given a wider and more sturdy appearance.

The new White Diamond body color, which has depth and sparkle, is available for Mirage and Attrage. The Sand Yellow color has been added to the Mirage palette.
The Attrage and Mirage are also available with new 15-inch alloy wheels. The wheels on Mirage have a two-tone diamond-cut design, while those on the Attrage have a classy silver finish.
2) More functional and fashionable interiors
A new design for the front arm rests features hand-touch areas covered in plush fabric.
There are higher trim levels available with unique seat designs. These include a sporty-looking fabric and synthetic leather upholstery for Mirage. They employ a sophisticated monochrome pattern with synthetic leather for Attrage. On both types, the seat sides have piping and stitching to offer a sense of elegance.
Legibility and clarity are improved by a newly adopted Smartphone Display Audio (SDA) system with a 7-inch display. Both Apple CarPlay*4 and the SDA system are supported.

Although Consumer Reports gave them an average reliability rating, they were not given a model recommendation. Ouch.
