Does Sonet exceed Venue in size?
Given that both SUVs share a platform, it is reasonable to expect that their proportions will be the same. But that’s not quite accurate. Kia Sonet has dimensions of 3,995 mm in length, 1,790 mm in width, 1,642 mm in height, and a 2,500 mm wheelbase. The Hyundai Venue, on the other hand, has dimensions of 3,995 mm in length, 1,770 mm in width, 1,605 mm in height, and a 2,500 mm wheelbase. The Hyundai Venue has 350 liters of luggage space, compared to 392 liters of boot space for the Sonet.
According to these measurements, the Kia Sonet is higher and wider than the Hyundai Venue. In this comparison, the Sonet has a larger boot despite the fact that both SUVs have the same length and wheelbase.
What are the Kia Sonet’s drawbacks?
The similarities between the Sonet and the Kia Seltos are immediately apparent as soon as you step into the cabin. Performance of the Air Conditioning
The new Kia Sonet’s air conditioner performs admirably. Although we were photographing this vehicle in sweltering heat, the air conditioning system is capable of quickly cooling the interior. The SUV also has air conditioning vents for the backseat occupants. A touchscreen is used to control the new Kia Sonet’s integrated air purifier with virus protection.
Comfort of the Chair
This SUV’s primary flaw is that it was designed just to seat four persons. In actuality, a person who is six feet tall won’t find it comfortable. The rear passenger space is cramped, but the front seats are fine. There is extremely little room for back passengers’ legs since it can only fit two adults of ordinary height and a child. The larger profile inside did not correspond to the outside in terms of space. A person of average height can sit upright because to the excellent headroom.
Infotainment on a touchscreen

The 392-liter storage compartment in the Kia Sonet is more than big enough to hold your weekend bags. There are plenty cuby holes for you to store your possessions. The front armrest’s fixed type front armrest has a fairly small interior, compared to the glove box’s respectable size. Good-looking bottle holders are on the doors. A wonderful addition is that the doors also provide space for an umbrella.
Styling and Presence
Hyundai and Kia have extremely comparable vehicle lineups. Though it’s important to note that Hyundai has established a luxury branch named Genesis that largely addresses those gaps, Kia does provide a few vehicles that Hyundai doesn’t. Hyundai’s aesthetic is generally much more restrained and understated, with slender curves and unobtrusive round forms making up the majority of the design elements. However, compared to their Hyundai cousins, Kia vehicles have sportier style that gives them a more aggressive and dynamic appearance. In a similar vein, compared to the Hyundai model, Kia SUV vehicles have a more robust, off-road oriented look. In general, Hyundai automobiles are more likely to blend in with the crowd, but Kia styling is more angular and futuristic, designed to grab attention and make a statement.
Performance and Handling
Although Hyundai and Kia share platforms and drivetrains, we already established that each company maintains its own independent engineering divisions. This is significant because it enables individual ride and handling characteristics to be tuned for each brand of car. It’s risky to generalize given the large range of vehicles available, including hatchbacks, sedans, crossovers, and vans. In contrast, a comparable Hyundai vehicle is probably going to prioritize a smoother, but disconnected-feeling ride, whilst you will probably find that Kia vehicles provide more dynamic, engaging handling qualities. Both have advantages and disadvantages, but in our opinion, Kia automobiles’ special chassis tuning significantly increases fun.
Price and Value
Kia automobiles are typically less priced than their Hyundai counterparts. The comparable Hyundai Elantra starts at $19,850, while the Kia Forte starts at $17,890. Although the Forte is less priced, Kia didn’t scrimp on quality or features. Like Hyundai, Kia provides one of the best warranties in the industry, which is ten years and 100,000 miles. Both companies offer quality that is unmatched in the industry and stand behind their products. In the J.D. Power U.S. Vehicle Dependability Study*, Kia placed third for 2021, ahead of brands like Toyota, Chevrolet, and even Mercedes-Benz. Even Hyundai’s luxury division, Genesis, ended behind Kia. Only Porsche and Lexus were ranked higher among mass market brands in terms of quality than Kia. At the top of that list, Kia is, in our opinion, in good company. It’s also important to note that J.D. Power named the Kia Optima, Sorento, and Sportage as the top models in each of their respective classes.
The Kia Advantage
In conclusion, Kia cars offer greater value and better quality, with bolder style and a more dynamic driving experience, even though Kia and Hyundai offer comparable vehicles. Simply put, no matter what you value most in a car, Kia automobiles are better overall. Of course, it is ultimately up to you to decide. We recognize that purchasing a new car is a significant investment. We advise you to test drive both brands since we are certain that you will ultimately decide on a Kia. The Kia Sonet has the same excellent build quality as its larger sibling, the Seltos. In the ANCAP (Australasian New Car Assessment Program) Safety crash testing, the Seltos SUV received a 5-star rating. Actually only receiving a 2 star rating, it only received 8.03 points, which is barely adequate… 8 to 11 points are a 3 star, while 5 to 8 points are a 2 star.
Although I haven’t personally checked at ratings, I’ll go with a three-star rating because it’s still quite good compared to India’s largest automaker.
Is it a wise investment to purchase Venue?
Overall, the 2022 Hyundai Venue is a solid purchase and a smart choice for those on a tight budget. It is reasonably priced, well furnished, and simple to live with on a daily basis. Nevertheless, the engine’s lack of strength makes it difficult to propel the SUV at highway speeds.
What about safety?
The Hyundai Venue, which went on sale in India in May of this year, is a global model that is sold in North America and Australia with left-hand drives and right-hand drives, respectively. The compact SUV from Hyundai was tested in the most recent series of crash tests by the Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP), and the findings have been released. Which is better, Venue or Brezza, to purchase?
If you want a more premium feel and better fit and finish, go to the venue. Brezza is a good option if you’re not searching for comfort but rather pure driving fun because it’s quite light and feels like a kick in the pants when you press the gas pedal.

Brezza is a better option than the venue from a diesel standpoint. But among all of its competitors, the 1.0l turbo engine is the best for gasoline. The venue excels in terms of technology and is India’s first connected automobile. You can also wait for the upcoming delivery of brezza gasoline. However, the location is excellent, and the cost of the gasoline is around 10 lakh, so go for it. It might be useful to you because I also own both vehicles.
If you can, hold off and get the Brezza after November so that you may take use of all of its added features. The performance of the Venue is subpar compared to the Brezza…
Really, I don’t believe the Venue kicks in until it exceeds 3000 rpm, and you can’t. Yes, the Venue is a gorgeous car, but it is also far more comfortable than the Breeza. Additionally, comfort and safety
