Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon (IPKKND), starring Sanaya Irani and Barun Sobti, debuted in our living rooms in June 2011. Ten years have passed since the first Star Plus program aired, yet the fan base is still strong. Arnav Sing Raizasa (Barun) and Khushi Kuma Gupta, one of the most well-known on-screen couples, were first presented in the series (Sanaya). They have a big fan base not just in India but all across the world because to their smoldering chemistry.
Why Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon fans still yearn for the program is as follows:
The 36-year-old Delhi man was one of IPKKND’s top crowd-pullers. He became a TV darling as Barun’s Arnav Singh Raizada, a classic Mills and Boon hero. Girls swooned at the sight of him because of his menacing sneer, deep voice, and penetrating eyes. Barun was more than simply a pretty face. The crowd was won over by his acting abilities.
Characterized as Khushi Kumari Gupta by Sanaya. Sanaya stole many hearts as the upbeat Khushi with her bright personality and straightforwardness. Her vivacity and spontaneity spread like wildfire. Her on-screen friendship with her co-stars was adored by viewers. Sanaya has performed in numerous shows, but Khushi is still her most well-known performance.
Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon significantly increased the number of SaRun (Sanaya+Barun) supporters. Since viewers adored ArShi (Arnva+Khushi), when they learned that Barun was leaving the show and that another actor would take his place, they successfully petitioned for the show’s cancellation because they didn’t want to watch Sanaya, who played Khushi, with someone else. Sanaya and Barun had a strong relationship that translated into incredible on-screen chemistry. The two actors are still close friends.
Arnav and Khushi were shown to have a typical love-hate relationship in IPKKND. The two heroes, however, have in-depth backstories for the first time. Khushi and Arnav both had difficult upbringings. While Khushi believes in spreading happiness, exactly like her name suggests, while Arnav hides his grief behind his hatred and contempt.
Without the support of the supporting cast of the program, IPKKND would not have been what it is today. Abhaas Mehta’s Shyam, the show’s major antagonist, was greatly despised by viewers. As Payal and Akash, Deepali Pansare and Akshay Dogra were charming. Who could ever forget Utkarsha Naik, also known as Manorama Mami, and her “phati saree”? The outstanding ensemble cast helped make the show popular.
On November 30, 2012, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon came to an end. The program had two add-ons. However, neither made an impact. Shrenu Parikh and Avinash Sachdev took the lead in the second season. Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon’s third season marked Barun Sobti’s return to television alongside Shivani Tomar, although the program was cancelled after only three months. Fans still can’t wait to watch Barun and Sanaya together in a movie.
Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon may be seen on Disney+ Hotstar for all seasons.

Do you believe Arnav was telling the truth when he told Anjali that she was the most important person in his life in episode 303, I believe? I also adore your writing.
This query seems to be an attempt to assign Anjali and Khushi a higher status in Arnav’s life. In Episode 303, Arnav informs Anjali that she has always been and always will be the most important part of his existence. During the Shyam’s initial reveal, Arnav stated that they were the two most important persons in his life.
I believe it is inherently incorrect to want to pit Khushi and Anjali against one another. Except for Targaryens and Lannisters, a person’s wife and sister do not share the same status in their lives.
Anjali was in pain, and I think Arnav felt overly protective as he does when he sees someone in pain. I believe he would have said or done anything to persuade her that nothing had changed. And nothing had altered for him. He didn’t accept Khushi at Anjali’s price, and I doubt he ever thought of Khushi as pulling him away from his sister.
Anjali, on the other hand, felt incredibly defenseless. Filthy! She had been trained by Shyam to think Khushi was gradually snatching Arnav, and this view was reinforced when her Chhote chose Khushia woman he had known for less than a yearover Shyamher husband of three years, whom she revered as a deitywithout any proof. Anjali needed assurance that she hadn’t lost her Chhote and never would at that very moment.
“Di, believe me, Di. Nobody will ever stand in our way. You have been and will continue to be the most significant aspect of my life.
“Chhote, a lot has changed. Chhote, when you stopped addressing my questions, everything changed.
“Di, nothing has altered. You are the reason I got married to Khushi. She was not the reason I married her. Khushi entered this home that evening as my wife, but only because of you. to benefit your unborn child. Because I believed that she and Shyam and… I did not love Khushi when we were married. I first began to fall in love with her after the wedding. Do you recall how Di used to guarantee that I would meet a woman I couldn’t live without?
“Khushi, Di, is that girl. Without her, I feel as though I will cease breathing. This is something that I never imagined happening in my life. But it took place. I’m very fond of her. Di, I adore you.
He would always value Anjali as the most significant person in his life. But Khushi is still just as significant despite that. We don’t necessarily mean to imply that one parent is less significant than the other when we tell them they’re the most important. We don’t want to imply that we don’t love our other siblings when we express our love for one particular brother.
And once again, a sibling and a spouse typically do not share the same place in a person’s life. There is very little chance of them competing, and the fandom only acts in this way because Anjali was so insecure that she believed Khushi was her rival.
For his sister and the child she was carrying, Arnav did marry Khushi. In an effort to put an end to the adultery, he did marry her. And his affection for Khushi wasn’t what it is now. That relationship was young and in its beginnings. What they currently have is stronger than what they will have after their second marriage, but it is not as powerful.
I believe Arnav uses language that Di can understand as she sees fit. You can see how Anjali’s expression changes in that scene when Arnav states that he married Khushi for her. In response to her response, Arnav realizes that she has to be informed that she was the inspiration behind everything. He did tell a fib in this scene, in my opinion.
He was heading up to the terrace to express his thoughts, and both he and the audience are aware of this. And this is depicted in the scene. Arnav starts to speak, but he stops and swallows. However, he has always been able to tell Anjali lies in order to keep her safe, and this is a very minor lie that almost doesn’t cost him anything but means a lot to his sister.
