TRIP INTERRUPTION POLICY
Benefits for trip interruption expenses are given if a warranty-related disablement happens more than 150 miles from the customer’s residence and if the repairs take more than 24 hours to finish. Meals, housing, or rental vehicle costs may be reimbursed in a reasonable amount. A three-day maximum limit per event and a daily cap of $100 apply to trip interruption coverage. Customers must get in touch with the Kia Consumer Assistance Center to explain their situation and ask for compensation. If the situation qualifies for trip interruption benefits, a representative from the Kia Consumer Assistance Center will make that determination and, if so, inform the customer that their trip interruption charges will be covered.
