Even GMC forgot to include the spare on the new $110,000 electrified Hummer pickup truck. The truck bed’s ability to accommodate a mount and an additional wheel is the lone saving grace. But it will cost an additional $1,000 or so. The only method for these other vehicles to transport a full-size spare wheel is by stuffing it within the cargo deck. That is counterproductive.
