Does Kia Make A 2 Door Coupe

When Kia unveiled the Kia Stinger earlier this year, it stunned a lot of people. However, after consumers had a chance to seat down in the most comfortable car Kia has ever made, things only got better. The newest four-door on the block, available in the US with a 255-horsepower four-cylinder or a 365-horsepower V-6, will go up against cars like the BMW 4 Series, the Audi A5 Sportback, and even cars like the Lexus GS or Infiniti Q50. But what if Kia went even further? What if it decided to compete in the two-door market as well? There is absolutely no reason why it shouldn’t, so we decided to give Kia a head start by creating our own vision of the Kia Stinger Coupe.

Our coupe has an expanded front door and a large section of rear quarter window that suggests the best passenger room of any two-door now on the market, unlike the Stinger we all know and lust over (that’s funny to say about anything with a Kia badge, isn’t it?). Additionally, it keeps the sleek roofline and rear hatch that make the four-door variant so appealing. Before Kia decides to grab our idea and run with it, let’s take a closer look at this rendering and go over some of the smaller features.

Is there a sports coupe made by Kia?

There are three trim levels for the 2022 Kia Stinger: GT-Line, GT1, and GT2. The GT1 and GT2 have twin-turbo V6 engines, while the GT-base Line’s model has a turbocharged four-cylinder engine.

The Kia Stinger has four doors.

The four-door fastback Kia Stinger is absolutely gorgeous, but it was actually based on a concept that was a two-door coupe, which accounts for its stunning good looks. But as the electric age approaches, it makes no difference how many special editions you release if they’re all slower than the typical EV. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the Kia EV6 will take the place of the Stinger as the company’s flagship performance vehicle. That’s all well and good, but how about fashion? The Stinger is unquestionably a more attractive vehicle, thus the answer must be to combine the EV6’s capabilities with a more stylish design.

Despite its heritage, Kia has already stated that the Stinger won’t be converted to a coupe, at least not anytime soon. However, it’s feasible that the EV6 may serve as the foundation for a future electric coupe that will likely outperform the Stinger in terms of both performance and appearance. When it comes to performance, the recently introduced EV6 provides up to 576 hp, compared to the current Stinger GT range-3.3-liter topper’s twin-turbo V6 that generates 365 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque. In the age of large numbers, it’s important to remember that more horsepower means less fun in the corners, so we imagine that an electric Stinger/EV6 coupe would deliver a similar amount of power, or even a little more.
