Ford has significantly shortened the amount of time it takes to charge by between 80% and 90%. Drivers can save roughly 40 minutes as they approach the end of their charging session by cutting what used to take an estimated 52 minutes down to just 15 minutes.
Ford also adjusted the one-pedal driving system in the Mustang Mach-E. It now runs more smoothly at lower speeds, according to the company, improving overall driver comfort.
Ford reaffirms that software and homologation updates have incremental advantages for Mustang Mach-E owners as well. According to the press release, the company is preparing future over-the-air updates to keep the Mach-E current and make further advancements.
