The digital speedometer and any other indications that you have enabled in that section of the Settings will be displayed on the information display. The display will move to the next enabled indicator when the trip computer switches on the right side of the steering wheel are pressed.
Each key fob must be programmed to show the customized information that the fob bearer wants to see, including the Meter setting at startup. Mine is configured to show the digital speedometer.

There is no means to receive digital speed, but there is a button on the left side of the steering wheel that allows you to choose between different information instead of simply the car’s image, such as tire pressure, fuel efficiency, radio station, etc.

Most likely, the installer accidentally shorted positive to ground, blowing a fuse. Engine Parts (BAT) fuse should be checked. Same issue; this fuse was blown and was replaced; the clock and Homelink are now operational.
