I’m new to the forum, hello. I recently finished a lease buyout on a 2018 QX30. I enjoy driving the automobile, and up until today, there have been no issues. Since Reno is hot, I hardly ever open the sunroof ceiling cover. I currently have it covered. It may have opened and closed a dozen times over the course of the previous two years. The cloth ceiling was being torn as the opening opened when I opened the ceiling cover this morning while driving and heard a ripping sound. I stopped the opening and covered it. Fortunately, the ripped ceiling is hidden, but because the material has been pulled, it cannot be used without causing more damage. I recently bought this car, so that’s great. Is this an ongoing issue? I am unable to locate any other owners who have encountered the issue.
