Even though it’s a tight fit, you can install it without taking off the bumper or grille. Use a little Phillips screwdriver to simply remove the air shroud. If pre wired, the insignia will be taped to the upper harness and come with a block off plug that needs to be removed in order to put it in.
How should insignia be removed for optimum results?
- Using a hair dryer, loosen the adhesive on the insignia.
- To remove the symbol from underneath, use fishing wire.
- Onto a towel, pour Goo Gone Automotive.
- To remove the glue, rub it in circular motions.
- To get rid of any leftover residue, wash the area with soapy water.
