Working Bluetooth audio streaming for the 2008 EX35!
Now that I’ve got this working, I thought I’d establish a new topic for it. My 2008 EX35 and Bluetooth audio streaming are both fully functional.
It required some work to get it working, but it does now have full steering wheel controls and a dash display. With the Viseoo Tune2Air WMA1000 Bluetooth converter and two 30 pin adapters, I was able to get it to function. With Apple devices, it performs flawlessly. Android devices do function with Tune2Air, but playlists and song metadata are not displayed on the screen because Tune2Air only supports the Apple airplay interface. Maybe in the future, the Tune2Air team will accurately include support for Android smartphone displays. No huge problem; for my part, I can utilize the Android display to show the song information until they do.
There are two connections from the phone necessary for Bluetooth pairing. One will serve as a phone connection to the MY-CAR interface, while the other will serve as a media link to the Tune2Air. The audio pauses during incoming calls and resumes once the call is over.
All of this stuff enables appropriate pin passthrough and voltage injection for the Infiniti IPOD adapter cable. Link as follows:
Here is a photo showing how everything fits neatly into the center console:
Here is a photo of the display taken with an Android phone (I’m sorry, I don’t have a working iPhone here):
This is my general setup:
Hope someone can use this. I implore Viseoo to fix the Android metadata, but it’s obvious that Apple is their top priority. Crossing our fingers and hoping that if enough of us ask for it, it will be granted.
Where is the aux input on a 2008 Infiniti EX35?
The central console of the 2008 INFINITI EX35 contains auxiliary input jacks. The vehicle can connect to gadgets that are NTSC compliant thanks to these jacks. The red jack is for the right channel of audio, the white jack is for the left channel, and the yellow jack is for the video input. To shield it from a power surge, you should unplug the device before plugging it into the ports. Do not operate the car if you are connecting a video device to play videos on the central screen. Pull over, engage the parking brake, and put the car in park. Playing videos while driving may be prohibited in some locations because it is one of the main causes of accidents in the nation today.
