Only the 2014–2015 Q50 was prewired with paddle shifters, in my opinion. Additionally, I believe that some 2016 Q50 early production models were pre-wired. Based on certain things I’ve read on this thread, I don’t believe your 2018 Q50 luxury will be pre-wired, but it’s worth checking as it’s a simple process.
