Priced from just under $18,000, the 2017 Hyundai Elantra SE sedan includes standard power windows, locks, and mirrors, air conditioning, cruise control, cloth upholstery, 15-inch wheels, tilt and telescoping steering, a six-way adjustable driver seat, and an AM/FM/XM/CD audio system with six speakers. The cost of choosing automatic increases by $1,000.
The SE has a touchscreen audio system and is the first model in the series to support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also has a 7.0-inch touchscreen. Two USB ports can be added to the Elantra, one of which can be set aside for phones using either of those interfaces.
Cruise control, steering-wheel audio controls, Bluetooth with audio streaming, heated front seats, 16-inch alloys, heated side mirrors, automatic temperature control, and a hands-free trunk lid are all available options for the Elantra SE. The SE does not come with leather upholstery, a motorized driver’s seat, or heated back seats.
The Elantra Eco model has a starting price of $20,650 and shares many of the same features as the SE variant.
The Elantra Limited, which costs $23,185, also includes 17-inch wheels, automatic headlights, dual-zone climate control, heated side mirrors, a hands-free trunk lid, a power driver’s seat, leather upholstery, keyless ignition, adjustable headrests, and Bluetooth. It also adds a 6-speed automatic transmission with a drive-mode selector as standard.
A power sunroof, heated rear seats, BlueLink telematics services, Infinity premium audio with ClariFi (which restores some of the waveform lost to audio compression across a number of audio types), navigation with an 8.0-inch touchscreen and Google destination search, and advanced safety technology features are all options for the Limited. When every option is chosen, the Elantra Limited costs around $27,500.
