Does anyone know whether the heated side mirrors turn on automatically or whether you have to push a button (maybe the rear windshield defrost button)? Since purchasing the 2011 Limited, I’ve been driving in Baltimore’s unseasonably bad weather, and I’ve needed heated mirrors more than once. Having saying that, do the mirrors simply turn on when the temperature drops? The owner’s manual makes no mention of the heated mirrors, so i’m still trying to figure this one out.

I recently bought a brand-new 2022 Santa Fe Hybrid Luxury. What’s the process for activating the heated mirrors? Is that the button for the rear defrost? Thanks. In Canada, heated mirrors are an absolute must!
The owner’s manual has to mention that. Unless the sensor is automated and switches on and off on its own. But if defrost mode is activated, you might be correct.
