Simply park, set your parking break, and switch off your headlamps if you want to operate your engine while turning off your daytime running lights while you are parked. Viola! DRLs will stop functioning.

Hi everybody. My LMTd arrived only a few days ago. Do the daytime running lights (DRLs) need to be on all the time or just when the headlights are on? Only when my headlights are in the auto setting do I notice them on mine.
My issue is that mine never shuts off. I’d like to turn off my DRLs when my car is running and parked at work or other events, but I don’t know how.
