It’s a 2007 Elantra SE. Regularly, the sun visors will drop and dangle by the light cord. I have removed both of them, and it appears that a plastic anchor beneath the base that would normally keep the sun visors attached at the base has broken off (if this description isn’t clear enough, I can include photographs).
I’ve attempted to re-attach the plastic anchor using super glue, but that didn’t last very long. Anyone have reliable information on how to fix these? If not, can somebody direct me to a location that would offer a significantly less expensive solution? Exist any other car models that utilize a comparable, suitable sun visor? I’ve seen several sun visors from similar model year Santa Fe or Sonatas that *appear* to fit, but they don’t have sliding mirror doors; instead, they have flip-up ones that would block the roof light.
