NOTE: I used this technique to replace the sunroof on my 2007 Hyundai Sonata. I’m not sure if other years are the same.
You will require a replacement visor, a #3 Phillips screwdriver, a slotted screwdriver, or any other small prying tool. The vendor I discovered on eBay was the least expensive. I spent $43 for shipping.
Remove the trim covering the visor mount in the first step. Any little prying tool would do; I just used a flat screwdriver. It simply snaps off.
Removing anything is called reinstalling it. Reassemble everything, and take pleasure in your new visor.

How can a broken sun visor in a car be fixed?
In fixed mounts, the visor is attached to one end of a straight bar that runs across the roof of your automobile. This enables you to spin the visor and block inbound light from the windows by swiveling it up and down and moving one corner. Unless of course the entire thing has snapped out of the mount, a visor with a permanent mount often won’t cause you as much trouble as one with a swivel mount. Simply tighten all of the screws securing the bar to the car’s roof and check the visor clips to fix a loose visor on a fixed mount. You can add rubber stripping or caps to the clip to strengthen the grip on the visor if the clips have broadened and aren’t keeping it securely in place.
Can you fix a sun visor?
Remedied-mounted sun visors that are loose can be simply fixed by tightening their screws or giving the clips some rubber material to make them more secure. If the damage is too serious to be repaired, have them replaced.
How are sun visors installed and removed?
You have a normal sun visor if your visor doesn’t feature a lit mirror. A flat head screwdriver and a Phillips head screwdriver are required to remove a typical sun visor.
First, find the mounting bracket. The brackets are situated where the sun visor fastens to your car’s roof.
Remove the bracket cover in step two. Pry the bracket cover’s corner up with a flat-head screwdriver. Don’t let the plastic cover fracture.
3. Take out the screws. Use the Phillips-head screwdriver to eliminate the screws after removing the bracket cover. There are typically at least two. For the installation of the replacement sun visor, put these screws in a secure location.
Step 4 is to remove the sun visor. You might need to gently tug on the sun visor if it doesn’t come off readily after the screws are removed.
How are visors created?

How much more stylish does a car’s sunroof make it?
