How To Change Headlight On 2007 Hyundai Azera?

My 2007 Azera’s low beam bulb has to be changed. I tried to remove the two top bolts as instructed in the handbook, but I was unable to remove the lamp housing. Why am I misusing this?

Hi, my name is Daniel. For a more thorough response, I might ask you questions. Before you accept, if you have any additional inquiries, just let me know.

Daniel:

  • Switch off the headlamps.
  • The lamp’s power connector should be disconnected.
  • Get rid of the lamp assembly.
  • Take off the dust cap.
  • When the connector is disconnected, remove the ignitor (B) (A)
  • Remove the fixing spring, then change the lightbulb.
  • Removal is the opposite of installation.

I am finding it challenging to remove the lamp assembly. The two top nuts and screws were removed, but the headlamp assembly is still stuck in place.

I’m going to try it once more outside. Although I wasn’t looking for it, I hadn’t noticed that previously. The three bolts on the top and side of the headlamp assembly must be removed, according to the handbook.

Your problem is with the internal nut on the front of the lantern. Sorry, I assumed you had the lamp out.

In the end, I took the automobile to a repair. Without dismantling the unit, they replaced the bulb by removing a few screws from the low beam section’s back. They took their time doing it. They claimed that the setup was different from what they had previously observed. If the star-shaped screw you indicated was on the bottom of the car, facing the middle, it was really tight and I was unable to remove it. Without taking the bulb out, they replaced it. The Kragen Auto Parts computer did not have the H11B bulb listed for the 2007 Hyundai Azera, therefore that bulb was used instead. On my other automobiles, I had previously changed a headlight bulb, but this one was more challenging.

I’m pleased things worked out, then. Most of the specialists here are willing to assist you for as long as you require. Please let me know if you need anything else since I feel like I owe you another response.

I turned on my headlights after starting the engine. About two seconds had passed when both headlights abruptly went off. High beams are OK. Today, I changed a new fuse at AutoZone (15a)…

Perhaps one of the headlights’ low beams exploded. Each high beam and low beam headlight bulb has two coils. Like a typical light bulb, the light is out when the coil breaks. Still, the high beams function properly. If you haven’t updated them in 8 years, it’s probably time to do it now. Check to see if you can get the bulbs out. Finding the lights under the hood is usually very simple; just crank the headlight bulb housing counterclockwise and it should pop out. Look for any damaged coils. Get the part number or take it to a parts store and ask a staff member for assistance if you need to replace both. Make sure not to let your fingers touch the replacement bulb if you decide to reinstall it yourself. In that case, wipe it down with rubbing alcohol before replacing it in the housing.
