Remove the two screws from underneath the trunk; one is silver and the other is gold in color. To access the screw, pull the hole cover from one side. Disconnect the connector.
Enter the cabin and begin to remove the light. Once it is raised enough for you to reach in and twist the socket’s wings to release it from the lamp housing, dump the bulb and socket out of the way and continue removing the lamp housing.
Replace the bulb by grabbing the socket by the short pigtail. Cut the wings off at the base of the socket with a set of side cutters.
Put the bulb and socket back into the housing and reinstall the lamp assembly on the deck panel.
A word of advice: use caution when removing the lamp’s socket. A coworker who was removing it accidentally cut his fingers rather badly.
