To emphasize that size, Hyundai threw in a monstrous 100-quart cooler and two enormous Callaway golf bags, although we here at the office prefer standard suitcases. Specifically, the beautiful small overnight bag and the five roller bags I keep in my garage. That amounts to six bags for a car that can seat seven passengers, or eight if you opt for the second-row bench rather of the captain’s chairs in our test Palisade.

As a result, you could fit six people in this Palisade if you had the captain’s chairs in the second row, albeit it would be difficult to fit someone in the middle. And just to review, the third row seats in the Palisade are among the most roomy and comfy in the segment. I can fit fairly easily at 6-foot-3.

Eight people can fit in the SE and SEL trims, but only seven can fit in the Limited and Calligraphy because to the second-row captain’s seats.
