Since I’ve known this, I’ve occasionally turned off the VSA, and it tends to make the truck seem faster and the throttle feel more sensitive. I’m not sure if I’m imagining it or depressing the gas pedal more quickly or deeply. I haven’t tested 0-60 mph on my own.

I’m curious if any of you have tried disabling the VSA to see if the acceleration feels better (The VSA needs to be turned off each time you start the truck by pressing the VSA button…VSA is automatically turned back on next time truck is turned on).

If this is the case, is there a major drawback to disabling the VSA when operating a vehicle on a street or highway in excellent weather in order to slightly improve acceleration or performance?
