I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to why the powered antenna output on my Civic wouldn’t be working since I’ve been having difficulties getting reception on my radio.
I don’t recall the specifics because I purchased the adapter a long time ago, but it appeared to have a green wire coming out of the side that was intended to be connected to a 12 volt signal. Whether that is linked or left open doesn’t matter anymore… I simply don’t receive reception. In case that’s the problem, I’ll probably get a new adaptor, but I wonder if there might be a blown fuse or anything.
Additionally, I had to extend the 45 friggin wires that connect to the fuse block and other components under the left kick cover when I installed my fiberglass kicks. I gave each one an additional 2 feet and added some beautiful connectors so I could take the kicks out as needed. In any case, it’s conceivable that one of the wires in that harness isn’t connecting properly or anything.
I figured I’d inquire here to see if any of the brilliant minds among you have any suggestions. How do you feel? Can I use my VOM to check the output levels somewhere?

Manufacturers typically try to cram in extra capabilities like GPS or Bluetooth into double DIN head units because they are seven inches broad and four inches tall.
